Step 9: Now read the future from the four corners
counterclockwise starting with the northeast pile. For the
bottom card in each corner, consider what is written under
the word ``Left’’, and for the top card consider what is
written under the word ``Right’’. Don’t rush! Think about
the meaning of each card, and how it relates to the subject’
s life. Lastly, read the three cards located south of the
south pile. For the bottom card consider what is written
under the word ``Left’’, for the middle card consider what
is written under the word ``Middle’’, and for the top card
consider what is written under the word ``Right’’.

Step 10: If you are interested in what the cards have to say
about your past, you can read the north, west, south, and
east piles. As the past is fixed you can read them in any
order. (The very patient could have done this before
reading the future. The very impatient can skip it
altogether!) Contrary to how they look, for the two cards
underneath consider what is written under the words
``Left’’ for the south card and then ``Middle’’ for the north
card, and for the card on top consider what is written
under the word ``Right’’.
