Step 2: Raise the Queen of Diamonds whispering distance to
your lips, or to the lips of the person whose fortune is to be told.
You (or they) should concentrate on the questions they want
answered. Place the two cards drawn with the Queen on the
table. Read them to learn more about the subject’s state of
mind. This step requires interpretation, but there are some
guidelines which I’ve written on each card. For the card falling
on the left, consider what is written under the word ``Left’’.
Similarly, for the card on the right, consider what is written
under the word ``Right’’. Remember, what I have written is
meant to suggest their associations, the subject must search
his or her own heart for their full interpretation. The two
phrases must be read together to get the full message. Now
place the Queen in the center of the table and return the other
cards to the deck. Reshuffle.
